Over 120 years of development, Queisser Pharma stands as a proud heritage within the German pharmaceutical industry. Founded by pharmacist Alfred Queisser and chemist Josef Peter Hennes, the company was born from a shared zest for science and a vision for healthier lives. • In 1897: The pharmacist Alfred Quessiser established the company in Hamburg. In those days, Queissier produced toothpaste, liquid soap and creams.
• In 1919: The scientist Hennes developed a herbs and other natural ingredients tonic in Essen. That is the original product of today’s Doppelherz Energy Tonic from Doppelherz.
• In 1976: The company became Queisser Pharma when it was merged with that of Josef Peter Hennes, the developer of Doppelherz.
• In the last 1970s: Queisser Pharma has belonged to Herm.G.Dethleffsen AG & Co KG, a family company famous in Flensburg.
• In present: The Queisser Pharma headquarters is located in Flensburg, Germany.
